Ho'oponopono for Peace of Mind

*IMPORTANT UPDATE*
In the interests of all I would like to point you to this website if you are interested in the practice of Ho'oponopono:
I have been alerted to this information recently and am in the process of researching it as it throws a different context to the practice of Ho'oponopono as outlined in my blog post here and of the links I have provided. Please also see the comments below this article.  I will update as I find out more information.
Warm regards, Elaine

****************************************************************************************************
Ho'oponopono is an ancient, powerful but incredibly simple technique from Hawaii.  If it is incorporated as a day to day mantra or meditation practice it can be life-changing.

Originally used between family members on a regular basis to clear
discordant energies - it also has the ability to free up hurt and negative emotions surrounding situations with other people and with yourself. Use it when you feel troubled to bring a neutral vibration to the circumstance and a sense of peace.

*It is important to note that this practice does not condone the actions, it neutralises it and “releases" all participants from the emotional bondage of the hurt.   You release those who have hurt you and by doing so, release the hurt.

Ho’oponopono as a very intentional vibrational energy will work across time and distance. It has the ability to create a positive alignment resolving even the most troublesome of issues. It simply requires a strongly focused intent, an open heart, and an open mind!

*As such, we are one and you are they and they are you - so we speak as one in the first person.

There is quite a lot of research on this lovely process and plenty of articles on Ho'oponopono which will help you understand how it works - I've put some links down for you below.

this one talks about the famous experiment with Dr. Hew Len

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho%CA%BBoponopono   this one gives the traditional background.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqrssdH6ET4    this binaural beat mantra may assist you too to work along with it and then as you tire, let it play into your subconscious.

How to do the Ho'oponopono Meditation

  • Sit in a quiet place and relax into a meditative state
  • Take three beautiful long deep breaths to centre yourself
  • Now bring to your mind the problem that is bothering you. You can work on anything.  It may be a family conflict, a difficult boss or co-worker, a friend who has upset you badly, someone who is gossiping about you or an argument you're concerned about. You can also use the process on situations you may have caused or those that you feel victimised by - e.g you may have been a little too harsh to someone in your life and are feeling a sense of guilt or remorse around your behaviour or someone was angry at you and you feel hurt and upset.
  • Revisit the situation in your thoughts and mind. Feel yourself really connecting to the person/situation. Release any judgement for the moment, who is right or wrong - just feel into the emotions around it.  If there are a number of issues, deal with one at a time.
  • Begin to feel deeply into the emotions you have around this. You may find this difficult but it is important to acknowledge how you actually feel.  Try to really visualise, think and go right into it whilst still breathing in and through your heart.
  • Now say these 4 magical sentences to yourself or out loud.

‘ I am sorry'

'Please forgive me'

'I love you'

'Thank you’

  • Keep repeating these four.  Gently and softly, over and over until you begin to feel more settled and you start to feel “lighter" as the heavy emotions connected to your experience eventually begin to ease. And they will! Intuitively work with the words as long as you feel you need to.
  • Alternatively, you can set an alarm for 15 - 30 minutes and keep repeating these 4 sentences as if you are chanting a meditation mantra. (Note: you can do this in conjunction to the binaural beat mantra link, above).
  • It can also be helpful for the connection to use a photograph of the person you are speaking to.
If you have a very difficult situation to work with then you may find you need to work this meditation more than once.  You can use the words if the situation creeps into your mind or field at any time and try and work on it daily until you feel it has resolved.

However, again, intuitively feel into it and allow yourself to trust the process. Once you do feel settled and the emotions around it seem to ease then allow it to be.  Let the Universe do the rest, trusting and knowing that you have realigned.

If this ancient practice resonates with you and you do try it, I would love to hear how you go.

  • Dear Elaine, Dear All,

I want to share something important about your article and Ho’oponopono.
After I read about the Mantra “I’m sorry, please forgive me, i love you, thank you”, i found the Website of Pacifica Seminars, by my research in the internet.

This website provides important and interesting information about Ho’oponopono, Dr. Hew Len, Zero Limits. And about the story of Hawaii State Hospital, it was told by Dr. Stanley G. Hew Len. The website was created by a former student of Morrnah Simeona.
    https://www.pacificaseminars.de/en-hooponopono-english-hawaii-state-hospital.htm

Morrnah worked for more than 19 years to complete her 14-step ho’oponopono-process. She completed it at October 1991.
Dr. Hew Len successfully tested this ho’oponopono-process at Hawaii State Hospital in the 1980’s.
    Here is the prove:
    https://www.pacificaseminars.de/en-hooponopono-english-hawaii-state-hospital.htm
The results were tremendous and bordered on a miracle.
Dr. Hew Len is sayd to have never used a mantra with 4 pharses in Hawaii State Hospital.

The success of Dr. Hew Len (in Hawaii State Hospital), is due to Morrnah’s 12- or 14-step Ho’oponopono-Process.
I would be happy if many people get to know the ho’oponopono-process of Morrnah.

Our Mankind needs Morrnah’s Ho’oponopono Process.

In Memory of Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona.

    Peace of I

PS: Pacifica Seminars in Germany was founded by Morrnah Simeona in 1990.

  • Dear Elaine, thank you so much for enlightening me and helping me to feel more connected with myself. With each Reiki therapy I have found it to be beneficial to my health, in that I feel a release of stress and emotions. Elaine you have passed on your wisdom, which in turn has given me the tools to reach towards healing and well being. I look forward to our next session. Kind regards, Lisa
